Sports Betting Rules FAQ
These answers explain common sportsbook practices. They do not confirm current service availability or replace the official Beguma Bet betting rules. Check the Terms and Conditions and Legal Status in Ethiopia for the rules and restrictions that apply.
When is a sports bet accepted by Beguma Bet?
Adding a selection to a bet slip does not, by itself, mean a bet has been accepted. Check for system confirmation, a bet reference and an accepted status in your account history through Beguma Bet login. If confirmation is missing or unclear, contact support before assuming the bet is valid or submitting it again.
What happens if odds change before I confirm a bet?
Odds can change while you are preparing a bet slip. Review the current price and any odds-change acceptance setting before submitting. Depending on the applicable rules and your settings, a change may require your approval or cause the request to be rejected. An accepted price may still be subject to the official rules on obvious pricing errors.
Are live bets confirmed immediately?
Not necessarily. Where live betting is available, acceptance may involve a delay while the system checks the market and current odds. Markets can also be suspended during important moments in an event. A pending request is not proof of acceptance, and a technical delay may result in rejection. Always check the final confirmation and account status.
What is a void bet?
A void bet is treated as neither a win nor a loss. For a cash-funded single bet, the usual treatment is a return of the stake. In an accumulator, a void selection may be assigned odds of 1.00. The official void bet rules govern the outcome; promotional stakes may have separate conditions under Beguma Bet bonus code.
What happens if a football match is postponed?
A postponed match does not automatically mean every bet is refunded. Settlement depends on the applicable rescheduling rule and the selected market. If a match starts but is abandoned, different rules may apply, including settlement of outcomes already conclusively determined. Check the official football betting rules associated with Beguma Bet football rather than assuming a fixed rescheduling deadline.
Do extra time and penalties count in football betting?
For a standard full-time football market, the usual basis is 90 minutes plus referee-added stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts. Markets such as “to qualify” may use a different basis. Always read the market description and official rules: first-half, second-half and other selections cover only the period or outcome specified.
How can I dispute a settled bet?
First, compare the settled status with the market description and applicable bet settlement rules. Then use Contact Us to provide the bet ID, date, event, market, stake, accepted odds and any relevant screenshots. Explain the discrepancy clearly and retain the response. An incorrect settlement may be corrected following review under the official dispute procedure.
Betting involves financial risk and is not a reliable way to earn money. Only participate where legally permitted and if you meet the applicable age requirements. See Age Restriction Policy and Responsible Gaming.
